Place a title order
For closing attorneys, paralegals, lenders and buyers who want Ironwood to issue their title insurance.
Fill in the form, or email the same details to orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com. Attorneys' offices can attach documents by replying to our confirmation email.
Before you send
- Property address and county
- Buyer or borrower names, and seller names on a purchase
- Sales price and loan amount
- Closing attorney or law firm
- Lender and any required endorsements
- Prior policy, if there is one in the last fifteen years
- Target closing date
Documents such as a preference sheet, prior policy or closing instructions cannot be uploaded through this form. Email them to orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com with the property address in the subject line.

We receive the request
The form sends your details to orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com. You will see a confirmation page right away.

We reply and open the file
If you are an attorney's office, we confirm the order and ask for anything missing. If you are a buyer or homeowner, we confirm your preference and coordinate with your closing attorney.

Commitment and closing
The attorney sends the preliminary opinion, we issue the commitment, and the closing proceeds on the attorney's schedule.

Final policies
Issued after recording and the attorney's final opinion.
Buyers and homeowners: sending this form tells us your preference; it does not place your title order by itself, because in North Carolina your closing attorney places the policy. Please also tell your attorney that you choose Ironwood, using their title preference sheet if they have one. You can change your mind at any time before the order is placed.
A note on privacy and security
This form is for transaction details only. Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, wiring instructions or copies of identification. We use the information to set up and service the title file and to contact you about it; see our privacy policy. Closing funds are handled by your closing attorney, so confirm any wiring instructions by phone with the attorney's office at a number you already know.

Attorneys and paralegals ask what a complete order looks like. These are the fields that most often trigger a follow up question, and why each matters:

Who should use this form
This form is meant for North Carolina closing attorneys and their staff. Buyers and homeowners should use the contact page instead, or tell their closing attorney that they choose Ironwood. Lenders and agents can also use the contact page. Orders received by email at orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com are handled the same way as orders sent here.
