Privacy policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026. This policy explains what information Ironwood Title, LLC, doing business as Ironwood Title Group ("Ironwood," "we"), collects through ironwoodtitlegroup.com and how we use it.

Information you give us

When you use our order or contact forms, or email us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, your role in the transaction, the property address and county, purchase price and loan amount, names of buyers, borrowers and sellers, the closing attorney and lender, and any notes you add. We ask you not to send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, wiring details or identification documents through the site.

How the forms work

Our forms are delivered by FormSubmit, a third party form service, which forwards your submission to our orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com mailbox. The form also records the page you submitted from and the referring page, so we know which page you were reading. FormSubmit's handling of data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use information

  • To open, service and complete a title insurance file and issue policies.
  • To respond to your questions and contact you about your file.
  • To coordinate with your closing attorney, lender and our underwriter, First American Title Insurance Company, as needed for your transaction.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with our affiliate, 1st Advantage Mortgage, for marketing. We may share it with the parties to your transaction and with service providers that help us operate, and when required by law.

Cookies, analytics and security

This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first. The site loads its fonts and code from its own domain.

Title insurance files are also subject to privacy obligations under federal and state law, including the Gramm Leach Bliley Act for consumer financial information. Our underwriter provides its own privacy notice for policyholders. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for information we hold, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Wire fraud warning

Ironwood does not collect closing funds. If you receive an email that appears to come from us, your attorney or your lender with wiring instructions, do not act on it. Call your closing attorney's office at a number you already know.

Your choices

You may ask us to update or correct information you gave us, or ask what information we hold, by emailing orders@ironwoodtitlegroup.com. Some information must be kept to meet legal and insurance recordkeeping requirements.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
